Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy covers billing, cancellation, and refunds for Semestree paid subscriptions, operated by NUHYLabs Inc..

1. What we sell

Semestree sells recurring digital subscriptions (Plus and Pro). Prices, included features, and billing periods are listed on the pricing page in US dollars, exclusive of any applicable sales tax.

2. Payment

Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. Your payment method is charged automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. We do not store card numbers.

3. Cancelling (turning off auto-renewal)

You can cancel anytime under Settings > Subscription — no email required. You will not be charged again, and you keep access through the period you already paid for. After it ends, your account moves to the free plan.

4. Refunds

These are our commitments, and they apply in addition to any rights you have under applicable law.

  • Within 14 days of a charge, with no paid features used: full refund.
  • Within 14 days of a charge, with some paid usage: prorated refund for the unused portion of the period.
  • Cancelling a term or yearly plan mid-period: we bill the elapsed time at the standard monthly rate and refund the remainder. (Term and yearly pricing is discounted on the assumption of a full period.)
  • An outage on our side: a refund or an extension covering the affected time.
  • Periods already elapsed, free trials, and promo-code periods: not refundable.

5. How to request a refund

Email mj@nuhylabs.com with your account email, the charge date, and a short reason. We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take a further 3–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Failed payments

If a charge fails, we retry up to 4 times over a 3-day grace period, and your access continues during that time. If payment still has not gone through, the subscription is cancelled and your account moves to the free plan. You can re-subscribe at any time.

7. Minors

The Service is for users 13 and older, and users under 18 need a parent or guardian’s permission. If a charge was made by a minor without that permission, contact us and we will cancel and refund it.
